The “Ditta” Taussi was founded by Camillo Taussi in 1864 and was born as a barber shop. At the end of the 19th century, Ettore, son of Camillo, entered the barbershop and with him, the public toilets with showers and tubs were opened, very rare, at that time, in Italian homes. In 1911 the perfumery was opened, the first in the whole city. In 1925, together with Ettore, he entered the perfumery of his son Tullio, who learned the profession of hairdresser for ladies in Rome and, when he returned to Fano, the barbershop was replaced with the hairdressing salon. Due to the Second World War, the old premises were destroyed and the Perfumery with adjoining Hairdresser was moved to the current headquarters in Corso Matteotti 118. Tullio, with his wife Bruna, managed the business until 1993 when his son Rodolfo took over. with his wife Luciana, he currently manages the Perfumery.
